Research



Unmet Needs

The global prevalence of ADHD in children and adolescents: 8.0%
There is no specific application helping people with ADHD to deal with mental work.
They feel harder to start mental work and take a break from hyperfocus than others.
Flow state represents a state of sustained concentration on a task and the smooth execution of an activity.


1. Interview with Real Persons
  1. Generate the template
  2. Modify it manually
  3. Conduct semi-structured interviews with 4 people with ADHD





2. Generate Persona

Considering the privacy security of the interviewees, We manually summarize the the common behaviors and key characteristics from the 4 interviews.

Then we let GPT and DALL-E generate the persona.
We call the persona Emily
.



3. Prompt Engineering

With prompting techniques like Role-playing and Few-shot, we tried to make Emily's
answers like those of ADHD humans

In the final version of storyboard, the actions generated by LLM are very detailed compared to our manual storyboard ideation, which gives us inspirations for the future product form and the potential user emotion.
